Online Registration

Beginning with the 24-25 school year, Lincoln County Schools are requiring parents/guardians of 1st through 12th grade students to complete their student’s health history, policy acknowledgements and other forms online using their Skyward Family Access account.  Student information forms and some other forms will continue to be sent home for completion.  The online forms are available in your Family Access account where you view your student’s grades, lunch balance and other information.  If you do not remember your login information, or have never logged into your Family Access account, please contact your child’s school to obtain your username and a temporary password.  Below is further information if you need assistance logging in or completing your forms.

FAQ

1)     I have never logged into my Family Access account, or my child is new to Lincoln County Schools, how do I get my login information?  Contact your child’s school for your login information and instructions for logging in on a desktop or laptop computer, or a mobile device.  You will be provided a username and temporary password that can be changed once you have logged in.

2)    I previously logged into my Family Access account, but have forgotten my username and/or password, what do I do?  If you have forgotten your username, you will need to reach out to your child’s school to obtain your username.  If you have forgotten your password and have a valid email address on file with the school, you can choose Forgot your Login/Password on the Skyward login screen and follow the instructions to have a password reset sent to you.  If you have not received the reset password email within an hour, reach out to your child’s school for assistance with verifying your email address and resetting your password.  The school secretary can assist with resetting your password, but is unable to see your previous password, so a temporary one will be assigned and you will need to change this upon login.

3)    I think I have finished completing my forms online, but I am getting an error message saying they are incomplete, what do I do?  Some forms, such as the Student Health History form, have many fields that are required to be answered, even if the condition does not apply to your child.  The error message should direct you to the place in the form that needs to be completed.  If you still need assistance, please contact your child’s school office.

4)    I have completed the forms online, and it says completed on my Family Access account, but I did not receive a confirmation email stating that registration was complete, what do I do?  If you do not have a valid email on file with your child’s school, you will not receive an email stating that registration is complete.  Contact your child’s school and verify your email address on file.  They can verify that your child’s forms have been received.

5)     I have more than one student in Lincoln County schools, why do I have to complete forms for every student?  The information contained in the forms is specific to each child, so the process will need to be completed for each of your students.  Once logged into your Skyward Family Access account, you will be able to complete the forms for each of your students by clicking on the 24-25 Student Information Forms tab selecting each student individually.  If you do not see all students listed for whom you are a legal guardian, contact your child’s school for assistance with linking your students.  Only students for whom you are the primary legal guardian are allowed to be linked to your account.

6)     I do not have access to a computer or mobile device, or I need assistance with completing the forms, what do I do? Contact your child’s school for assistance with completing your forms.

7)     How long do I have to complete the forms online?  Student Information Forms must be completed online by July 15, 2024Until this process is complete, your student is not fully registered in Lincoln County schools for the 24-25 school year.

8)     I have a question about this process not answered here, who do I contact?  First, contact your child’s school for help with this process or if you have additional questions.  If they can’t answer your question, they will submit it to our help desk for further assistance.  Please be prepared to provide your name, phone number, email address and the specific problem that you are experiencing, and someone will reach out to you with a resolution.
