Meet Mrs. Hayley
Welcome to Mrs. Hayley's Counseling Corner
I have so many exciting activities and topics planned for our Guidance classes this year. Honestly, I CAN NOT WAIT to share these lessons with the students. I want to tell you a little bit about myself.
I’m from around these parts and proud to report my grandmother actually graduated from Flintville High School in 1949 and was a Bobcat basketball player! I pass her graduation picture in our hallway about 20 times every day. I graduated from Motlow College with an Associate’s Degree in psychology. I went on to Athens State University for my Bachelor’s Degree and then finished up my Master’s Degree in counseling psychology at Alabama A & M University. I’m currently attending MTSU in the evenings so I can stay up to date on the latest school counseling techniques. I worked as a therapist at Junior’s House Child Advocacy Center and Centerstone before coming to FES.
Maybe the most important thing I haven’t already mentioned though, is this….I absolutely love this school and all of these little students!!! I would also love to hear from you! Please, always feel free to call me about any school topic or student issue and I will do my best to be of service to you. My personal office number is 937-8140.
By the way…ask your child to tell you what they are learning in Guidance. I’m sure they will enjoy sharing it with you.
