As you all know, every year our students must take a state-mandated test which is now the TNReady test. The TNReady test is administered in late April and early May. One area in which student scores are reflected is in TVAAS (Tennessee Value-Added Assessment System). This measurement tool reflects students’ growth year-to-year as compared to the students’ peers across the state of Tennessee. TVAAS measures the school’s and teachers’ impact on the students’ academic progress.
We are humbled and honored to report to you that our students have scored the highest level of growth achievable and led our school, Flintville School, to a TVAAS composite score of “5”. This is the third year in a row that our students have earned a “5”. We are very proud of our students and teachers, as they worked extremely hard last year, and their hard work has paid off once again. Thank you and please congratulate our students and teachers when you see them.
